As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for leading and facilitating Agile practices within cross-functional teams, with a particular focus on Master Data Management and Data Governance initiatives. You will ensure that projects are delivered on time, meet quality standards, and align with business objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with product owners, stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile Processes: Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring adherence to Agile principles and Scrum practices.
- Project Management: Oversee and manage the execution of MDM and Data Governance projects, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative environment by working closely with product owners, development teams, and stakeholders to align on project goals and deliverables.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical insights and support in MDM and Data Governance practices, ensuring best practices are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to data quality, security, and compliance in MDM and Data Governance projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, focusing on process optimization and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment.
- Training and Mentorship: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on Agile practices, data management principles, and governance standards.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, Agile metrics, and lessons learned for continuous learning and improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with hands-on experience in implementing and managing Enterprise wide MDM and Data Governance projects.
- Proficiency with MDM tools (Reltio preferably) and Data Governance tools (preferably Collibra).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience in the Life Sciences industry is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of data management principles, data modeling, and data architecture.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in Life Sciences, including data privacy and compliance.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certifications.
- Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
