Additional Details:
- Position Type: 1 year contract opportunity
- Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
- Position location: Hybrid schedule
- Pay rate range approved up to -$24/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Drive existing product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement and methods – Six Sigma, Product Understanding (PPU), Designing of Experiments (DOE), Customer Quality Index (CQI)
- Support and interact with customers through complaint investigations, resolutions and trending
- Ensuring the commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications change
- Supporting change as it relates to design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction efforts
- Supporting New Product Introductions (NPI) through product and process validations, test method development, and risk management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline
- 2 years of Quality Engineering in medical device
- 2 years of experience applying requirements of ISO 13485 and ISO 14971
- CAPA experience
- High attention to detail
