Overview of the role:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive ERP Project Manager to manage the rollout of Dynamics 365 Business Central across multiple companies in the US and Canada. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in transforming and optimizing our business processes through the successful implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 BC.
Working with Group HQ (U.K.) to input into governance and provide project updates whilst managing a US solutions partner to develop solutions for a Finance ERP transformation. Utilising the skills of the change management peers to plan, execute and track the change and the impacts to each business within scope and work with the Global Programme manager to deliver clear consistent communication and governance, whilst managing local and global stakeholders.
- Project Delivery:
Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan for the rollout of Dynamics 365 BC across multiple companies.
Provide direction and oversee the entire ERP design, test and implementation lifecycle.
Ensure alignment of the project with organisational goals and objectives.
Ensure clear governance and reporting into the global programme team
Stakeholder Management:
Collaborate with key stakeholders across various departments and geographical locations to gather requirements and ensure successful deployment.
Communicate project updates, risks, and timelines effectively to executive leadership and project teams.
Manage relationships with external vendors and consultants.
Team Management:
Build and lead a high-performing, cross-functional project team.
Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
Implementation Oversight:
Oversee the configuration, customisation, and integration of Dynamics BC.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and mitigate risks to minimize disruptions during the rollout.
Quality Assurance:
Develop and implement testing protocols to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the ERP system.
Establish and enforce quality assurance standards throughout the implementation process.
Training and Change Management:
Develop and execute a comprehensive training program for end-users.
Implement effective change management strategies to facilitate smooth transitions and user adoption.
Budget and Resource Management:
Manage the project budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
Identify and address any budgetary constraints promptly.
What you’ll need:
Skills:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience (5 years) as an ERP Programme Manager, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics BC.
- Strong understanding of business processes, financial systems, and ERP implementation methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required for project implementation across the UK, US, Canada, and Europe.
