About the Job:
We are seeking an experienced Underground Transmission Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and project management of underground transmission systems. This role requires a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Analysis: Develop and review designs for underground transmission systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support during construction and maintenance of underground transmission lines.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other engineers, designers, and project managers to coordinate efforts and ensure project goals are met.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure the integrity and reliability of underground transmission systems.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in underground transmission design and engineering.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in PLS and tools. Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Certification: Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required.
