Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief of Staff (CoS) to join our executive team. The CoS will work closely with the CEO and other top executives to ensure the smooth operation of the organization. This senior executive role involves serving as a trusted advisor, strategic partner, and gatekeeper, playing a critical role in driving the company’s success.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Planning and Execution:
- Assist in the development and implementation of business strategies.
- Ensure alignment between the executive’s goals and the company’s objectives.
- Oversee the progress of major projects and initiatives.
2. Operational Management:
- Manage day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure collaboration among departments.
- Identify and resolve operational issues.
3. Communication and Liaison:
- Act as a communication bridge between the CEO and other executives, employees, and stakeholders.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and other documents for internal and external communication.
- Represent the CEO in meetings and discussions when necessary.
4. Decision Support:
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support executive decision-making.
- Conduct research and analysis on various business matters.
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
5. Problem Solving:
- Identify and address critical issues that may impact the organization.
- Develop solutions and action plans for complex challenges.
- Ensure that problems are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
6. Administrative Oversight:
- Manage the executive’s schedule, priorities, and commitments.
- Organize and coordinate executive meetings and events.
- Handle confidential information with discretion.
7. Leadership and Team Development:
- Mentor and support the development of other staff members.
- Help build and maintain a strong organizational culture.
- Facilitate leadership team meetings and retreats.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a senior executive role, preferably as a Chief of Staff or similar position.
- Strong strategic planning and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
