Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Battery Energy Storage Systems Architect. As a Systems Architect, you will be responsible for system architecture, systems design, software development, systems engineering, and integration of battery energy storage systems at a high level and influence decisions on a daily basis. The role is located in San Jose, CA and it requires presence our office or our R&D facility where we develop, prototype, and assemble these systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical and software aspects of Battery Energy Storage Systems
- System Architecture, Systems Design, and Systems Engineering skills
- Understanding and architecting software for the development of energy systems
- System Integration experience, understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
- Knowledge of embedded and system level communications and communication methods
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
