Job Description: We have new opportunity in Battery & custom silicon group. It is for managing battery chemistry and materials qualification tests in Cupertino Lab.
Description:
· Prepare test samples for various chemical analyses.
· Execute measurements following SOPs.
· Accurately record test results and perform some data analysis.
· Support SOP documentation.
· Work closely with engineers to support battery development work.
· Report status on a regular basis.
· Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Required technical skills:
· Minimum of 2 years working in a laboratory environment.
· Ability to execute complex, detailed test procedures with minimal input from engineers.
· Excellent organizational and troubleshooting skills with great attention to details.
· Experience with basic metrology instrumentation such as analytical balances.
· Familiarity with proper laboratory safety and housekeeping practices.
· Able to follow proper safety protocols.
· Experience using Mac OS X and Windows OS.
· Experience with operating various analyses equipment such as SEM, ion milling, TGA, BET, XRD, equipment maintenance, sample preparation
· Perform routine cell assembly tasks and material preparation
· Perform backend operations including assembly, welding/soldering, pouching
· Carry out UV laser DOEs and troubleshoot first-level tool issues on second shift. Support engineering development for backend cell assembly
· Perform tape casting operations
