Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Estimating Manager to join the dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project estimation for diverse construction projects and possess a keen eye for detail. This role requires an in-depth understanding of PEMG (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings), Tilt Wall construction, and Structural Steel.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for a variety of projects, including healthcare, industrial, retail, office, and other sectors.
- Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications, drawings, and documents to determine project scope and requirements.
- Vendor Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and ensure the best value for the company and clients.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to develop project plans and schedules.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports and estimates to senior management and clients.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project estimation, with a focus on healthcare, industrial, retail, office, and other types of projects.
- Expertise: Proficiency in PEMG, Tilt Wall construction, and Structural Steel.
- Skills: Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with industry-standard estimating software and tools.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
