Technical Program Manager - Wind/Renewable/Systems/Hardware
At Piper Maddox, we have partnered with a ground breaking Wyoming-based startup in wind technology, backed by Bill Gates's Breakthrough Energy Ventures and Lowercarbon Capital. Their goal is to make wind power more affordable and expand clean energy globally. They develop cost-effective wind turbines that makes the logistics quicker and readily available. They are in need of a Technical Program Manager.
The Technical Program Manager plays a crucial role in the organization, overseeing the strategic execution of complex projects from inception to completion. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, program management proficiency, and leadership acumen to ensure the successful delivery of our cutting-edge wind energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- This is a very technical role. Needing expertise of systems and hardware systems. Simulation/digital twins experience would be great!
- Develop project KPIs and drive project sprints to ensure consistent delivery of product milestones
- Cultivate schedule discipline with company leadership, and communication between stakeholders
- Foster open communication within the team and stakeholders; adept at drafting PowerPoint charts and maintaining effective communication channels
- Develop and implement project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive project sprints and ensure consistent delivery of product milestones.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of proven experience in technical program management, demonstrating successful leadership in large-scale projects.
- Background in electrical, mechanical, robotics, aerospace engineering, or related fields, with a focus on high-fidelity systems and controls.
- Experience in leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders in dynamic environments, preferably in startup or innovative industries.
- Proven ability to take ownership of program execution and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Risk management experience
Location: Ideally located in Wyoming, or Denver CO area
Salary: $140,000 to $170,000 + benefits
