What will your role be?
As a Digital Industrial Specialist, you'll be a key expert in wearable smart devices, IoT, and industrial computing. Your primary responsibilities will include integrating new products into our infrastructure, supporting level 1 and 2 teams with complex technical issues, and collaborating with suppliers across North America. You'll work within a Multi-Functional Team to implement infrastructure changes for new products, and may develop new algorithms or programming packages.
Activities:
- Drive innovation by taking Connected Objects from concept to production
- Identify and support infrastructure requirements for new hardware products
- Address and resolve security issues related to new products in collaboration with relevant teams
- Engage in technical discussions about infrastructure changes needed for new products
- Build relationships with IT service delivery managers and domain leaders to enhance knowledge sharing
- Standardize support processes and procedures across business divisions
- Collaborate with departments to optimize IT workflow and process efficiency
- Participate in ITSM tools and ITIL processes, consolidating platforms into a unified system
- Lead service transition and transformation activities, preparing support teams for new service areas and phasing out outdated services
- Integrate and automate tooling and processes with EU counterparts where possible
- Manage project work packages to deliver service guides, knowledge base articles, and user documentation
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs with business functions or specific divisions
- Coordinate with the DW Industrial team in Europe to manage new products, services, and escalations
- Collaborate with IM SRMs, PSL, Domain Leads, and Management to ensure smooth deployment and performance
- Enhance data accuracy by regionalizing industrial account management services in North America
- Maintain and update the internal service catalog annually as services evolve
- Develop technical support documentation for new products
- Provide operational reporting and dashboards covering key KPIs and SLAs across contracts
- Assist with pilot testing of new smart products
What skills and qualifications are we looking for?
- Strong IT background with experience integrating disruptive IT hardware within enterprise architecture
- Proficient in Microsoft system configurations and enterprise applications
- Knowledgeable in Mobile Device Management systems and device integration
- Effective communicator with experience interacting with various management levels and technical personnel
- Solid understanding of Windows systems administration, including Active Directory, group policies, and domain administration
- Strong interpersonal, communication (oral and written), and facilitation skills
- Fluency in English is required; German or French language skills are a plus
