Position Overview
The Technical Analyst, Oracle Cloud role will be responsible for executing technical work/workstreams related but not limited to items such as Data Migration, Integration (both inbound and outbound), PaaS Extensions and Reporting in the Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications Platform supporting the full suite of Oracle Cloud Manufacturing, Supply Chain. Distribution, Planning and Financials etc. This role will be responsible for technical deliverables, working alongside the project/program managers and teams in functional, testing, change management, support, audit and architecture roles to ensure the successful support, maintenance and enhancements of the XXX Oracle Cloud Applications Ecosystem. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable and has a sound footing in the technical knowhow of the Oracle Cloud ERP/EBS and can translate business/functional needs into robust technical solutions.
Essential Job Functions
- Serve as an Oracle Technical Analyst in IT for supporting Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and the ecosystems for all technical needs. Be responsible for scoping, planning, capturing requirements, system configuration, testing and training
- Work closely with Technical Lead , business and functional leads to understand their objectives and processes, and assist in leveraging applications to increase impact, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Identify Process Improvements & Requirements, Security exposures and advise on solutions.
- Partner with other cross-functional teams to develop, deploy and monitor integrations and ensuring they run successfully
- Develop and deploy extensions in Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications as applicable.
- Develop and deploy reports per needs of the business and IT functional lead’s requirements.
- Assist the Technical Lead in the design of the overall application architecture to support end to end processes that traverse multiple business applications with an eye on scalability and security.
- Recommend new functionalities, addons for existing solutions and coordinate the evaluation, scope, testing, approval and deployment of same.
- Create and maintain documentation and ensure appropriate adherence to change management and compliance (SOX, GxP, GDPR, CCPA etc.) protocols
- Support compliance activities related FDA (ISO 13485) and SOX.
- Support documentation and maintenance of IT policies and procedures related to business applications.
- Partner with third party vendors, ensure timely resolution of issues and timely delivery.
- Address user issues/concerns in a professional/timely manner and ensure end-user satisfaction
- Develop and communicate training and documentation for end users and provide training as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Computer / Software Engineering or equivalent preferred)
- 8+ years of experience working in an IT environment
- 10+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud) in technical development capacity with a strong foundation in Oracle DB, PL/SQL, Java etc
- Experience in Personalizing of Oracle Cloud/EBS.
- Integration experience with platforms like OIC, Oracle SOA, Boomi, Workato.
- Demonstrated ability to build extension in Oracle Cloud Applications with DFF, EFF, Groovy Scripts, Infolets, Page Composer. Application Composer etc.
- Experience in Data Migration from legacy systems into Oracle EBS/Oracle Cloud.
- Experience using FBDI templates.
- Experience in deploying OCR technologies like WebCenter, Coupa etc. highly desirable.
- Experience in developing and architecting PaaS applications e.g. Java CS, APEX CS, Visual Builder etc.
- Thorough understanding of Oracle Cloud Roles, Data Security Privileges to be able to create custom roles and troubleshoot access issues.
- Experience with implementing EDI integration with third party applications.
- Experience in implementing REST/SOAP based API/Web Services integration.
- Strong experience with BI/OTBI Report development.
- Strong foundation on security protocols/data security, encryption etc.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks
- Continuous Improvement mindset with superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous experience working in a SCRUM or Agile environment desirable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
- Experience working in FDA regulated environments is a plus
