We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst. The Senior Business Intelligence Data Analyst role is pivotal in leveraging data to address business challenges and unlock strategic opportunities. This position involves spearheading key projects, with tasks ranging from data collection and cleaning to creating comprehensive dashboards, reports, and analytical models. The ideal candidate possesses a keen ability to find patterns within extensive data sets and the strategic acumen to translate these findings into actionable business insights.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate and test hypotheses, employing advanced analytical techniques to uncover, interpret, and communicate trends or patterns within complex data sets.
- Conduct in-depth analyses utilizing large-scale, multidimensional operational, and financial data to assess the impact of various initiatives, explore operational modifications, and offer evidence-based insights to stakeholders.
- Lead interdisciplinary projects, presenting analytical findings to both internal teams and external clients, aiding in data-driven decision-making processes.
- Continually update and scrutinize operational and financial performance metrics.
- Design and implement robust benchmarks, reports, interactive dashboards, and key performance indicators for various business units to support strategic decision-making, enhance profitability, and foster revenue and sales growth.
- Utilize data insights to advocate for modifications in existing practices, programs, or procedures, collaborating with stakeholders throughout the design, testing, execution, and evaluation phases of business process optimizations.
- Execute additional responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 4 years of experience, a Master's Degree with 2 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Demonstrated ability to independently address business questions through critical thinking.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and at least one data visualization tool (Qlikview/Qliksense, Power BI, Tableau), with a preference for Qlikview/Qliksense.
- Experience in developing analytical solutions with a predictive focus.
- Proven track record of data analysis, evaluation, and the creation of engaging presentations and visualizations.
- Proficiency in Python or R.
- A proactive learning attitude, willingness to engage in new projects, and a continuous improvement mindset, always ready to bring best practices to the table and challenge the status quo.
- Skilled in SQL/Snowflake or similar relational databases.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication abilities.
- Knowledge of statistical analyses (e.g., regression, decision trees, random forests).
- An advanced degree or certification in Statistics, Predictive Modeling, or Data Mining.
