The Data Architect position will be part of the IT team and will be responsible for architecting data solutions related to business strategies. Working closely with the BI team and business unit leads, the Data Architect will analyze business needs and develop appropriate data deliverables, such as, data models, data flow diagrams, data dictionary, and glossaries to meet them.
- Very strong technical knowledge in ETL/ELT tools (e.g. SSIS, Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Informatica), RDMS (SQL Server, Postgres, Snowflake), Reporting tools (Microsoft SSRS, Tableau, Power BI), or similar technologies; ability to work alone or in conjunction with a team
- Experience designing and working with both real-time and batch integration
- Hands-on experience in Azure or other cloud-based platforms
- Hands on experience designing and/or delivering cloud-based data solutions including Databricks and Azure-native cloud
