Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Engineer with 2-5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, specifically within artificial lift systems and Operator background. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for optimizing production, and a track record of driving successful artificial lift operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Artificial Lift Optimization: Design, implement, and optimize artificial lift systems (ESP, rod pump, gas lift, etc.) to maximize production and efficiency across multiple assets.
- Production Monitoring: Analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and recommend adjustments to enhance performance and minimize downtime.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support for artificial lift operations, collaborating with field teams to ensure safe and effective practices.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics tools to monitor well performance, identify trends, and recommend improvements in artificial lift systems.
- Collaboration: Work closely with reservoir engineers, drilling teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on production strategies and goals.
- Project Management: Manage artificial lift projects from conception through execution, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and safety standards.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and technologies in artificial lift systems, and apply best practices to drive innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in production engineering within the oil and gas industry.
- Proven expertise in artificial lift systems, including ESP, rod pumps, and gas lift.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in production data analysis and optimization.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and improvement.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of industry-standard software and tools for production monitoring and optimization.
