Advent Talent Group is seeking a Philanthropic Services Operations Associate for a local non-profit in Minneapolis, MN! This role involves managing grant-related tasks including due diligence on grantees, maintaining and organizing documentation, and supporting database activities.
Overview:
Hybrid in Minneapolis, MN
Contract- Through the end of year!
Part-time- 20-30 hours
Compensation $30.00/hr.
Duties:
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential grantee organizations to ensure compliance and alignment with funding criteria.
- Scan, upload, and organize documentation related to past grant distributions for easy retrieval and reference.
- Regularly update and maintain accurate fundholder information and perform routine database cleanup to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in database migration projects, including data transfer, validation, and testing to support system upgrades.
- Perform research on current and prospective grantee organizations to support decision making and grant evaluation processes.
- Provide support for the Employee Assistance Fund, including tracking applications, processing requests, and communicating with applicants.
- Handle additional administrative tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is advantageous.
- Strong research abilities with adeptness at using internet resources to gather relevant information.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the capacity to work independently and efficiently.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with IRS and Minnesota charitable registration regulations preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information responsibly.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
