PRINCIPAL NETWORK ENGINEER
Salary Range –
$125 - $160K (possibly higher for the right candidate) + 15% bonus and 24 PTO days
Manager Notes
Will need to come onsite as needed - they will be moving from Weldon Springs to Creve Coeur.
They will be reporting to the Director of Networking.
They need to be hands on and handle all things networking, LAN, WAN, Wireless, etc.
They need to be able to advise and make decisions, compile information and report to leadership. They need to have Global experience, a company with multiple data centers with 4,000+ employees.
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Highly advanced expertise (10+ years experience) in designing, deploying, and managing or otherwise maintaining enterprise class networks (LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Center Networking) and related systems.
Advanced expertise with firewall and load balancing concepts, platforms, and integration practices
Advanced experience with information security concepts and platforms.
Advanced experience with enterprise network management.
Expertise designing, building, and integrating hybrid cloud (AWS) platforms and technologies.
Highly advanced knowledge of scripting languages (Shell scripting, Python, Power BI, PL/SQL, Perl)
Advanced expertise monitoring IT systems and integrations.
Willingness and ability to travel to global locations to support regional initiatives - minimal.
Advanced project management skills. Demonstrates an ability to evaluate project objectives and scope for feasibility, understanding, scheduling, and managing projects to budget and plan.
Advanced ability to translate business needs and problems into systems’ design and technical solutions.
Advanced interpersonal skills, demonstrating an ability to lead and mentor support staff.
Complex analytical and problem-solving skills.
Broad business and finance related knowledge

12-15 years' relevant IT experience
Advanced experience with workload virtualization including application containerization.

Position Overview
Independently designs and implements Global IT Infrastructure solutions utilizing diverse technologies and processes to deliver new capabilities. Leads multiple, highly complex projects on the deployment or upgrade of Company technology utilizing internal and external resources across multiple disciplines.
Functions as lead and mentor for technical team members on technology strategies and configuration. Requires depth or breadth of expertise in own specialized discipline or field.
Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain the organization's application systems and/or IT infrastructure.
Provide an architectural framework for information system development, maintenance, and enhancement efforts.
Understand user and process requirements and ensure those requirements can be achieved through high quality deliverables.
Work closely with developers and engineers to develop road maps for applications, align development plans, and to ensure effective integration among information systems and the IT infrastructure.
Monitor technological advancements to ensure that solutions are continuously improved, supported, and aligned with industry and company standards as well as emerging business requirements.
Understand the interactions between systems, applications, and services within the environment, and evaluate the impact of changes or additions. Analyze systems and perform usability testing to ensure performance and reliability, enhance scalability, and meet security requirements.
