Job Overview:
- Adhere to and enforce safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects
- Actively participate in pre-task planning to ensure a safe work environment
- Promptly report any safety issues or concerns to management
- Uphold quality standards in the execution of all projects
- Engage in continuous professional development to enhance knowledge and abilities
- Contribute to research, data collection, field observation, inspection, and both field and laboratory testing
- Prepare comprehensive reports or sections of larger reports based on findings
- Evaluate routine laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports
- Collaborate with other technical professionals and supervisors on routine and less complex projects
- Perform basic calculations and engineering analysis as required
- Draft routine proposals and assist in the preparation of more complex proposals
- Utilize CAD software for plan drafting
- Collaborate with engineering technician crews in testing, observations, and data gathering activities on project sites
- Prepare daily reports documenting activities and findings
- Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer
