Key Responsibilities:
* Implement and monitor the Quality Control Plan.
* Develop and maintain standard work processes.
* Oversee inspections of incoming materials.
* Manage the Material Review Board and non-conforming processes.
* Resolve on-site quality issues and escalate when necessary.
* Maintain quality documentation and tools.
* Conduct site quality audits and reviews with sub-contractors.
* Track and report on quality KPIs.
* Lead problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications:
* Degree or diploma in a relevant field.
* 5+ years of experience in construction quality control, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
* Knowledge of quality assurance in electrical installations.
* Proficient in reading technical drawings and using design software.
* Experience with measuring equipment and test procedures.
* Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
* Ability to mentor team members and manage multi-disciplinary tasks.
* Experience with managing electrical subcontractors.
* Autonomous and able to work independently.
* Willingness to travel frequently for projects.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
Physical Demands:
* Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
* Specific vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
* Navigate construction sites, including climbing, walking through trenches, and overcoming obstacles.
Work Environment:
* Exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions.
* Moderate noise levels.
