Key Responsibilities:
- Support and lead projects related to the deployment and performance evaluation of emerging technologies in grid operations.
- Develop and enhance tools for power system analysis, modeling, and simulation.
- Apply big data analytics to assess and improve grid operations and performance.
- Engage in visualization of complex data to support decision-making processes.
- Collaborate on projects across various areas of the power system, contributing to a broad range of research and development efforts.
- Utilize knowledge of databases, data structures, and computer networking to address and solve engineering challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Strong background in power system analysis, modeling, and simulation.
- Experience with big data analytics and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with databases, data structures, and computer networking.
- Proven ability to apply engineering analysis to solve complex problems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
