About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist with expertise in large language models (LLM) and natural language processing (NLP) to play a crucial role in developing advanced predictive models and generative AI applications. The aim is to transform the healthcare experience and contribute to improved health outcomes. The ideal candidate is passionate about leveraging data to make a meaningful impact in healthcare, eager to tackle complex challenges, and proficient in managing and interpreting large datasets.
Responsibilities
- Understand business needs and objectives to develop machine learning models and generative AI applications aimed at improving patient engagement and workflow automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify data requirements for projects focused on enhancing patient activation and workflow efficiency.
- Integrate, normalize, and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights that improve patient experiences and health outcomes.
- Apply machine learning and statistical methods to create high-performing predictive models that enhance patient outcomes.
- Communicate complex quantitative analyses clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field is preferred, though candidates with a Bachelor's degree and significant relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- 10+ years of experience in designing and developing machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI solutions, particularly for real-world applications in healthcare.
- Strong understanding of machine learning and statistical modeling.
- Experience in healthcare, particularly in developing applications for patients or clinicians (e.g., patient engagement, digital health, or care orchestration), is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills- leadership skills are highly desirable.
