Job Description: Commercial Project Manager
Location: Sacramento
Salary: $80,000 to $125,000 annually, DOE
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with general contractors. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing large commercial projects. This role requires a hands-on approach, excellent project management skills, and the ability to handle monthly billing effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities.
* Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and work plans.
* Handle monthly billing and ensure accurate financial reporting.
* Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Troubleshoot and resolve project-related issues promptly.
* Travel to job sites as needed, with a company truck provided.
Qualifications:
* 3-5 years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial construction.
* Proven track record of managing large projects.
* Strong proficiency in project management duties, including scheduling, budgeting, and billing.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Decent attitude and professional demeanor.
* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.
