We are an early stage AI startup in a very excited period! You will join their world class engineering team putting together the world's best AI home security system.
We have raised over $15M in seed funding led by some of the markets leading venture capital firms!
Our perception system is built for action! Complementing the sensor systems mounted on the home, our deterrence suite responds to threats in the moment, preventing crime before it happens. This role is a crucial enabler for this.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- As our first Electrical Engineer you will have experience in product development, as well as specifying, wiring and mounting home hardware that meets electrical codes. Our product is almost at Beta version so this is a great opportunity to be involved at an early-stage of something quite special!
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with expertise in motor controls, PLC programming, hazard analysis, and safety analysis in compliance with electrical codes.
WE NEED YOU TO HAVE EXPERIENCE IN….
- 3 - 7 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience conducting DFMEA for electrical systems.
- Proficiency in running conduit and mounting hardware in compliance with electrical codes.
- Strong knowledge of hazard analysis and safety analysis for electrical systems.
- Experience in laying out electrical requirements for complex projects.
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING.....
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in motor controls.
- Experience with advanced PLC programming and automation systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in electrical engineering.
