Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Data Engineer to join their hybrid team in Irving, Texas! This role will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across the organization.
Duties:
- Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project with high quality
- Responsible for programming a component, developing feature or frameworks
- Contribute to design discussions for the BI Consumption Layer
- Analyze problem statements, breaking down problems
- Take ownership of small and medium-sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members
- Demonstrate the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems
Desired Skills/Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Java, J2EE, Angular JS, NodeJS
- 4+ years on Windows or Linux developing environments
- 4+ years of experience in Front-End UI technologies like HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, Ajax, and jQuery, Angular JS, NodeJS, and ReactJS
- 2+ years of experience in ThoughtSpot, Looker, and Tableau
- Experience working with at least 1 NoSQL Databases or relational database
