Locums Job in Central Florida 7-10 Days of General Surgery Call Coverage October - December
Jackson + Coker is partnered with a valued client located between Orlando & Tampa that needs bread & butter General Surgery call coverage starting in mid-to-late October and ongoing through January 31, 2025 (potential to extend beyond this).
Dates of Coverage:
Seeking between 7-10 days of 24-hour call coverage starting in mid/late October and ongoing through until January 31, 2025 (there is a possibility that this will extend beyond January)
Client is working to identify specific dates that they need to fill & appreciate candidates that have flexibility within their schedule
We can also present your specific availability to see if it can work for them
Details on Assignment :
- Active Florida license + DEA required
- Board Certification or true eligibility required
- Will be covering 24-hour call coverage for the ED; Handling emergent procedures, completing daily patient rounding & tending to new consults
- 7AM - 7AM start and end times
- Must be able to complete an onsite Epic training prior to starting coverage
- Can anticipate seeing between 7-11 patients per day on average (this includes all: seeing emergent/new consults, patient rounding & emergent procedures)
- No APP support in the hospital
- Bread & Butter General Surgery coverage (no scopes required)
- Facility is open to Robotics, however this is not required
- Facility detail: located less than 40 miles from Orlando/airport, Epic EMR, not a designated trauma center, 120+ bed facility
