Day To Day Responsibility:
- Ensure code management, release process management, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
- Support ongoing process improvements and enable software development and QA teams.
- Adopt best practices and work with Engineering leadership to evangelize release management best practices and promote a creative and collaborative work environment.
- Build the release engineering team and staff it as planned.
- Communicate release details and schedules to the Business as required.
- Coordinate release content and effort based on the service request backlog, pending service requests, third-party applications, or operating system updates.
- Work with the Development and QA teams to improve the CI/CD pipeline and its integrations with code repositories, unit tests, integration and functional tests, static code analysis, SAST and DAST, build automation, container packaging, automated deployment of the applications in Dev, SIT, Staging, and Production.
- Work independently.
Must-Have:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- 5+ years of previous release and/or project management experience
- Solid understanding of project management principles is preferred
- 5+ years of team and people management experience with groups no smaller than 5 engineers
- Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience with Git, Azure, or Jenkins, or any other CI/CD Tools
- Experience producing deployments, run books, and implementation plans
- Excellent written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills are a must
- Ensure the code management, release process management, continuous integration, and continuous deployment
- Support ongoing process improvements and enable software development and QA teams

Salary Range:
- The salary for this position is between $110,000 – $125,000 annually.
- Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
