We're seeking a talented ESP Application Engineer to join our team. You'll be at the forefront of designing, implementing, and optimizing Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems and other artificial lift technologies to enhance oil and gas production. With 7-8 years of industry experience, this role involves providing expert technical support, leading complex projects, and working closely with clients to deliver effective solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and recommendation of ESP systems and other artificial lift technologies, tailored to client needs and specific well conditions.
- Perform comprehensive hydraulic calculations and simulations to optimize the performance of ESP and other lift systems.
- Select and specify pump components, including motors, pump stages, and ancillary equipment, based on well parameters and production objectives.
- Offer advanced technical support and problem-solving for ESP systems and other artificial lift applications, ensuring optimal operation and performance.
- Troubleshoot complex operational issues and provide solutions for ESP and artificial lift systems.
- Conduct detailed site assessments to collect data for system design and performance analysis.
- Manage and coordinate projects involving ESP and artificial lift systems from design to execution, ensuring alignment with client specifications and industry standards.
- Oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and compliance with safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, manufacturing, and field services, to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Engage with clients to understand their specific needs, challenges, and operational requirements.
- Prepare and deliver technical documentation, including detailed reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Stay current on advancements in ESP and artificial lift technologies and integrate new solutions to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements and innovative practices to drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-8 years of experience in designing, applying, and optimizing ESP systems and other artificial lift technologies in the oil and gas industry.
- Proven expertise in handling complex projects and solving challenging technical issues related to artificial lift systems.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in ESP and artificial lift design software and hydraulic simulation tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
- Deep understanding of safety regulations and industry standards.
