Listed as an ENR top Heavy Civil GC, with unmatched experience across the civil infrastructure market, my client is seeking an established Senior Estimating Manager to lead and direct their estimating division, whilst liaising with Joint Venture Partners. You will be joining an award winning Construction team to work on High-Profile large projects. They are steadfast in their dedication to excellence, safety, and sustainability, guaranteeing that each project in which they undertake adheres to the most rigorous standards. From building expansive bridges to pioneering solutions for transportation networks, they continuously innovate and challenge conventional limits.
Proposal Manager Role:
They are looking to expand their Preconstruction Department by hiring a Proposal Manager. Together with Business Development, Estimating, and Business Line Management, this person will work collaboratively to ensure that proposal and pursuit efforts are successful across North America. The Proposal Manager will also help teams position themselves for larger endeavours, such as pipeline development and capture planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and Lead complex proposals, working closely with graphic design teams to ensure effective communication of proposals.
- Collaborates with pursuit teams to formulate strategies, incorporating business intelligence on clients and competitors.
- Plan and Lead pursuit strategy meetings.
- Supports the continuous development and improvement of QA procedures and conducts quality control reviews of departmental materials.
Additional Qualifications and Abilities:
- Minimum 5 years of proposal preparation within the construction, engineering, or architecture industry.
- Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts.
- Strong Organizational skills.
- Competency/experience with Adobe InDesign.
