We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Systems Integration Program Manager to lead comprehensive ERP system implementation and integration within a manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the full ERP project lifecycle and a strong background in change management. This role requires excellent project management skills, a strong command of ERP functionalities, master data management, and the ability to manage large-scale projects that enhance operational efficiencies and business processes.
The role will be fully remote for the first year of employment with frequent travel to Southern California. After the first year, the role will be fully on-site in Phoenix, AZ.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end implementation and integration of ERP system within the Operations division.
- Collaborate with IT and business leaders to prepare and execute comprehensive project plans, encompassing all stages of the ERP lifecycle relating to the Operations division.
- Ensure rigorous planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of ERP projects, aligning with business objectives and operational needs.
- Develop and control project budgets, schedules, and resources to achieve project deliverables on time and within cost constraints.
- Conduct detailed risk management assessments and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Maintain constant communication with project stakeholders, providing regular updates and adjustments to the project scope and timelines as necessary.
- Manage the integration of ERP systems with existing business processes and systems, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal performance.
- Lead and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new ERP systems and processes across the organization.
- Translate complex project details into simple, clear, and actionable statuses to ensure understanding across all stakeholder groups.
- Plan and oversee the comprehensive testing of new ERP systems to ensure functionality and performance meet business requirements.
- Any additional duties assigned by the VP of Operations.
Required Skills:
- Extensive experience in managing full lifecycle ERP implementation and integration, particularly within a manufacturing context.
- Strong understanding of the entire ERP process flow, including order processing, planning, sourcing, manufacturing, shipping, and invoicing.
- Proficient in project management tools and software, with a focus on those that support ERP system implementations – JIRA, MS Project, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems, identify potential issues, and design effective solutions.
- Experience in developing and implementing change management strategies within large-scale projects.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of working with and presenting to stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to guide, influence, and motivate teams across various departments.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Skilled in distilling complex issues into clear, concise, and easily understandable communications.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as a project manager, with significant focus on end-to-end systems implementation and integration in the manufacturing sector.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- PMP or CAPM preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit and work in front of a computer for an extended period of time.
- Ability to travel 25% of the first year of employment.
