Our Team and Philosophy
Coennect engineering is a scrappy, fully remote team that is highly productive. We are building a cross functional team of engineers, scientists, marketers, designers and product managers that deliver the insights, algorithms, internal systems and tools, and user-facing experiences to fuel Coennect’s growth.

Our Technology
Our multi-platform application is built on AWS-centric cloud based architecture utilizing a number of managed services serving a React/NextJS front end.
We use React for rich user experiences. We are looking for a front end engineer who is eager to both develop new features and participate in infrastructural design. While we’ve built a solid foundation there is still significant opportunity to shape the architecture and vision for the UX. Some of our React based features include:
- Dashboards: We’ve crafted stunning, cross-platform dashboards that artfully display aggregate enterprise metadata, providing visually compelling and comprehensive views.
- Communication: We’ve developed highly effective communication tools that empower seamless sharing of knowledge, valuable insights, and expert guidance.
- Automation: We’re building a custom detection engine seamlessly integrated with automation, enabling rapid responses with tailored resolutions and expert guidance
While we eagerly adopt new technologies to enhance our product's appeal, we are fully aware of the maintenance challenges associated with incorporating new libraries or platforms, prioritizing solutions for immediate issues rather than engaging in premature optimizations for potential future problems. We use Slack for daily communication and Google for video calls.
Skills

You have strong problem-solving skills and experience working on important functionality for a cloud-based product. You are humble, eager to learn, and always willing to help others learn as well. You want teammates who enjoy solving problems regardless of the technologies and techniques involved. You have worked at meaningful scale before and want to do so again. You also have the below experience and skills:
- 3+ years of experience working in React and Typescript
- Experience writing modern web applications
- Producing scalable, data-intensive React pages
- Experience building features (ideally at a high-growth SaaS company)
- A bias toward simple and sustainable solutions to technical challenges
- Active collaborator with product teams
Your Work at Coennect
Our features are full stack. As a Sr Front End Engineer, your work will include:
- Developing and Implementing new features for our users
- Building deeply interactive interfaces using React
- Scope, design, and lead technical projects, laying the groundwork for early-stage products to iteratively evolve and scale.
- Optimizing browser performance on screens and components that render large quantities of data
- Interfacing directly with users to quickly squash bugs as part of our regular customer support rotation
- Documenting code and components in our style guide to help set and maintain standards

- The base salary range for this role in the US is between $120,000 and $140,000
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, we cover 50 percent of the premiums

Base salary and total compensation are dependent upon many factors, such as skills, experience, and relevant past roles.
