hackajob have partnered with a global financial services corporation known for its credit card, charge card, and travel-related services, catering to both individuals and businesses. We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect to join the growing team.
Role: Solutions Architect
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Work model: Hybrid (2-3 days a week in office)
Requirements:
- 4-5 years of practical programming experience relevant to the assigned Technology Platform in a professional setting or equivalent experience, such as:
- Advanced hands-on experience in application solution architecture design and comprehensive software development for complex distributed (multi-tiered) systems.
- Previous experience across multiple IT disciplines with a solid understanding of architectural concepts (business, data, technical, and solution) and a proven track record of implementation.
- Extensive experience using a systems analysis and design methodology applicable to an agile product environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Previous hands-on experience with one or more core technology stack components within the assigned portfolio, including relevant frameworks and/or programming languages.
- Advanced to expert-level knowledge and understanding of solution architecture, complex application systems design, and platform integration through modern approaches (e.g., RESTful APIs).
- Demonstrated understanding of relevant supporting architecture domains necessary to align and deliver solutions (business, information, application, technical, etc.).
- Ability to conduct system design reviews to ensure the selection of appropriate technology, efficient resource use, and alignment with strategic platform roadmaps.
- Channel-specific solution architecture skills required by the assigned platform, including web, mobile, voice, or interactive media.
- Advanced skills in working with Open Source components, frameworks, and complex systems integration.
- Thorough understanding of Service Oriented Architecture design principles, execution patterns, and performance optimization techniques.
- Ability to lead the prevention, diagnosis, and resolution of system outages as an expert in the underlying architecture.
- Proficient understanding of relevant SDLC methodologies, practices, and compliance policies/procedures.
- Deep knowledge of business capability domains relevant to the assigned portfolio.
- Ability to deliver results with a focus on reducing cycle time and accelerating the speed to market for new products.
- Excellent interpersonal skills (both verbal and written), as well as strong consultative and influential leadership skills.
- Well-versed in current industry best practices related to solution delivery disciplines.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify key issues and their impact within a broader business context.
Offer: Up to $190K base salary depending on experience + benefits package.
