Systems Engineer
SNI Technology has an immediate need for a Systems Engineer to join a well-established and reputable research firm based in downtown Boston, MA!
This is an exciting opportunity to work as the deputy to the Director of IT, showcasing your Systems Engineer skillset, while gaining and learning new technologies!
*This is a HYBRID position based out of Boston, MA*
The successful Systems Engineer candidate will already have strong knowledge within Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and FreshWorks. They will also create and improve workflows between systems and tools to optimize performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor cloud services and resources in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Zoom, and Conference Rooms
- Configure and troubleshoot network, security, and identity solutions in Azure and Intune
- Deploy and manage applications and devices in Intune and Microsoft 365
- Integrate and automate tasks and processes using PowerShell, Python, Azure CLI, Azure DevOps, PowerAutomate, and Azure Logic Apps
- Administer and support FreshWorks platform, including FreshDesk, FreshService, and Fresh Status
- Create and update documentation and reports on system configuration, performance, and issues
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff
- Create knowledge base articles and documentation to support end-users
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of experience as a Systems Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and FreshWorks tools
- Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Python, Azure DevOps, and Azure Logic Apps
- Knowledge of using a ticketing system in a DevOps environment
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Certifications in Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365, and FreshWorks are preferred
