The Implementation Project Manager plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between clients and technology teams. The ideal candidate will excel in managing key client implementation projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to specifications. Experience in the healthcare industry is essential, with a preference for familiarity with virtual health/telehealth platforms.
Position Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and stakeholders, maintaining effective relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Oversee the coordination of internal resources and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Define project scope and objectives, involving relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
- Provide training for end users in clinical or hospital environments.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification methods.
- Evaluate project performance using relevant tools and techniques.
- Follow established escalation protocols.
- Conduct risk management to mitigate potential project risks.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong educational background in healthcare, computer science, or engineering.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in project management within Healthcare IT or Healthcare Operations (EMR/Practice Management) in hospital or healthcare settings.
- Technical proficiency with software development, mobile apps, and web technologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both client-facing and internal.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to be on site in the Orlando office 3 days a week
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare operations within clinical or hospital settings.
- Background in implementing virtual health/telehealth platforms.
- Knowledge of EMR integration or telehealth platforms.
- Lean Six Sigma or PMP certification preferred, or willingness to obtain within one year.
