Structural Engineer
Our client, a prominent figure in the construction sector, is in search of a seasoned Structural Engineer to lead and supervise the structural components of various construction projects from the initial stages through to their successful completion.
This role requires outstanding organizational abilities, a strategic approach, and a comprehensive knowledge of structural engineering methodologies. Additionally, the ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, a keen eye for detail, and the capability to navigate complex engineering challenges.

Focus:
- Oversee the structural design and analysis of construction projects, ensuring they meet all safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Verify and manage project budgets related to structural components, ensuring cost efficiency through proactive planning and financial oversight. Address cost variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and review detailed structural drawings and specifications using software such as Revit and AutoCAD.
- Coordinate with design professionals, construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure structural integrity and project cohesion.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients, design professionals, and vendors. Regularly communicate project status, address concerns, and resolve issues to ensure client satisfaction.
- Oversee and guide project teams and external contractors to optimize efficiency and safety protocols.
- Prepare and review project reports, including cost reports, progress reports, and performance analyses. Conduct progress meetings and document meeting outcomes.
Skill Set:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a structural engineer in a related field. Project management certifications are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree in Structural Engineering will be given consideration where minimum experience is not met.
- P.E. or S.E. license.
- Proficient in RISA software platforms, Revit and AutoCAD.
- Strong proficiency in process improvement, tracking budget expenses, and performance management.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
- Ability to contribute immediately and effectively to project needs.
- Sharp analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to be based in Fayetteville with limited travel requirements.
