Job Title: Field Engineer

You will play a key role in overseeing project execution, ensuring technical and commercial excellence and building a career in the renewables industry.
Job summary
We’re looking for a Project Engineer eager to take an active role in supporting our projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be crucial in keeping our operations on track, providing daily support to field teams, project management, and customer teams. Your responsibilities will include coordinating material delivery schedules, managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs, and serving as a primary point of contact for internal customers.
Knowledge: You will begin by learning and applying professional concepts, utilizing company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
Job Complexity: You’ll tackle problems of limited scope, relying on standard practices and procedures to analyze situations and find readily available solutions. This role requires you to build stable working relationships within the organization.
Supervision: You are a self starter and will be expected to show diligence and follow through with all tasks. You will typically receive detailed instructions for all tasks and expectations.

You’ll work closely with the project teams and a project manager or project executive as part of a team that collaborates with field, engineering, and design teams. You’ll have the chance to gain insights from everyone you work with—from journeymen and general foremen to your project team. Additionally, you’ll participate in vendor off-sites, training sessions, and other educational opportunities.
Minimum Qualifications
We consider any combination of education and experience that, in our judgment, provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities. Required licenses or certifications may also qualify.
Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Licensure/Certifications: None required.
Experience: No prior experience in construction or a related field is required, although two years of such experience is preferred.
Driving Record: A valid state-issued driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record are required.
