Job Description:
The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and management of our vehicle fleet to ensure optimal performance, safety, and cost-efficiency.
- Fleet Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the vehicle fleet, ensuring efficient utilization and availability.
- Maintenance Coordination: Schedule and manage regular maintenance and repairs of vehicles to ensure they are in excellent working condition.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all fleet operations comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Implement safety protocols and conduct regular safety training for drivers.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control fleet expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and repair costs. Develop strategies to optimize cost-efficiency.
- Vendor Management: Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with suppliers, service providers, and vehicle manufacturers.
- Fleet Tracking and Reporting: Utilize fleet management software to track vehicle performance, fuel consumption, and other key metrics. Generate regular reports for management review.
- Driver Management: Recruit, train, and supervise drivers, ensuring they adhere to company policies and safety standards.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Implement eco-friendly practices to reduce the environmental impact of fleet operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree is ideal.
- Bilingual is Spanish required.
- Three + years of experience managing fleet.
