Our continued growth has created an opportunity to join our team as a Business Systems Analyst.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Revenue Cycle Management, Practice Management and related IT systems
- Work closely with different business stakeholders and developers to gather necessary information related to Dental Insurances, in particular, insurance eligibility, insurance claims and denial and insurance plan management
- Provide documentation for assigned area of responsibilities.
- Analyze business process issues and provides consulting assistance to system users, conducts research on possible solutions and makes recommendations based on findings; develop proposals that outline feasibility and costs; suggests, designs, tests, implements and evaluates solution.
- Driving the resolution of issues found in insurance benefit, insurance eligibility and insurance claim.
- Serve as a liaison between business and development team to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations.
- Perform functional quality assurance testing, consisting of test case creation, test case execution, bug logging & tracking and defect management.
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements and provide necessary guidance to testers during QA.
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.
- Experience with Dental Insurance and Revenue Cycle Management
- Knowledge of dental insurance payors, policies, claims, eligibility and guidelines.
- A minimum of 3 years related experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions
- Strong organization/time management and project management skills and multi tasking abilities
- Demonstrate good communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency with: Microsoft SQL Server Management and writing SQL queries including complex queries is required.
