Role Description
This is a full-time position located onsite (West Des Moines, Iowa) in a small business, collaborative environment. The repair technician role involves repair and maintenance of aircraft components with high quality assurance practices. We are looking for candidates with some past mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical experience to join our team. Previous aviation experience is a plus but is not required. Ideal candidates have a good work ethic, positive attitude, mechanical background, troubleshooting experience, and a willingness to learn an aviation mechanical skillset.

Role Responsibilities
- disassemble, inspect, repair, and rebuild aircraft components, ranging from cockpit control panels to pneumatic valves.
- repairs and maintenance using common hand tools and test equipment such as calipers, micrometers, power supplies, multimeters, megohmmeters, and pressure gauges. All tools, equipment, and training are provided.
- maintenance using procedures, methods, techniques, and specifications in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA regulations.
- and document all maintenance performed.
- computer systems to enter, document, access, receive, or communicate information.
- the work from a workbench in a clean, organized, and environmentally controlled environment.
- on-the-job training and supervision to ensure that your work complies with all company policies, manufacturers specifications, and FAA regulations.

- 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday.
Role Requirements
- English language skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- School diploma or equivalent.
- work authorization.
- pass a DOT required initial drug screening and thereafter submit to DOT mandated random drug and alcohol testing.
