We have an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Process Engineer working in the operations group on CZT sensor electrical assembly and testing processes. This role will be responsible for establishing/controlling test processes, data analysis, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the sensor test areas that deliver the final product to our customers.

Process Engineer Responsibilities
· Technical ownership of the sensor electrical assembly and testing processes.
· Responsible for continuous improvement of process capability, throughput, and cost.
· Leads both proactive and reactive problem-solving efforts in their process area with responsibility for solving problems at a root cause level.
· Works with Test Engineers to develop new process capabilities to support production of new CZT sensor products being transferred and released from R&D/NPD.
· Technical lead for production engineering projects, e.g. capacity expansion, new equipment installation, process development and qualification.
· Works with engineering peers to analyze test data and improve upstream processes.
· Continuously seeks opportunities to improve the production process yields within their areas of responsibility.
· Represents production team in design reviews of NPD projects to ensure new products are released to production smoothly and on time.
· Ensures process capability metrics, Cp, Cpk, GRR, etc. are adequate for their processes and drives improvement where required.
Product Owner Responsibilities
· Works with Test Engineers / R&D / NPD to develop and improve testing regimes to deliver quality products to the customer.
· Produces production floor documentation to enable efficient assembly and testing operations.
· Develops, owns, and executes process and/or product improvement roadmap.
· Working with customers to manage product support.
· Closely work with sales team for lead times, technical queries, forecasting and planning.
· Develop, monitor, and report KPI’s that demonstrate the process is working correctly and not deviating.
· Administer Jira board for associated project to coordinate and organize tasks.
Education
· B.S Degree in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or equivalent science discipline is required
Experience Profile
· Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role overseeing functional testing of electronic assemblies in an industrial / manufacturing company. Ideally this experience will be from Silicon chip, MEMS, or other sensor manufacturing industries.
· Proven experience in complex electronic and/or sensor manufacturing, with standalone ability to conduct problem solving and continuous improvement projects in their area of responsibility.
· Demonstrated capability to use industry best practice lean and 6-sigma tools to deliver results.
· Experienced operating in an ISO 9001 quality management system – e.g. SOPs, SPC, process control, and change management practices.
· Excellent skills in root cause problem solving and implementation of preventative controls.
· Excellent communication skills and comfortable leading or working in teams.
· Data driven with proven background in using data analysis using advanced Excel or SAS JMP.
