Our client's home health organization is seeking several talented Business Analysts to assist across multiple workstreams. They will be working alongside project managers and development and/or data teams on projects including an EMR platform replacement and a data maturation initiative involving tools like Snowflake and Databricks. An overarching goal for this group is to align with the business side on a platform or product model, so any agile or product ownership experience would be highly preferred.
This person will be assisting with requirements gathering, facilitating conversations between engineers and IT leaders, scheduling meetings and follow-ups, doing analysis on current and future state for upgrade/migration projects, as well as roadmapping and managing the group's backlog. They should have experience in a similar industry and a highly matrixed enterprise organization, as well as be someone who's technical. resourceful, adaptable, naturally curious and has an analytical mind. PO experience and the ability to frame in user stories, as well as any healthcare/EMR experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- The IT Business Analyst monitors and measures relevant performance metrics to assess the performance of IT resources and optimizes performance through process improvement activities.
- The IT Business Analyst work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
- The IT Business Analyst devises measures and targets to assess and optimize the performance of IT functions, services, projects and any related improvement initiative.
- Identifies and analyzes performance measures and metrics, develops and maintains balanced scorecards and dashboards, and evaluates and monitors performance in IT-related areas.
- May include network performance management, application performance management (APM), (operating) system performance management (physical and virtual/cloud) and business transactions performance.
- Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas.
- Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed.
- Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of technical experience working as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or in a similar position
- Experience with project tracking tools like Jira
- Experience with process flow chart tools like Lucidchart or Visio (Lucidchart is preferable)
- Experience in problem analysis and process documentation
- Experience with Microsoft office suite
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Must be able to work in a Central or Eastern time zone
Other Preferred Qualifications:
- Healthcare and/or EMR project-related experience
- Experience working with data and/or data science specific teams preferred
