Job Title: Infrastructure Project Manager - HealthCare
Location: Irving, TX with travel required to New Mexico
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Manager, Director, or other senior personnel, the Project Manager will determine user demands, establish work priorities, and plan, direct, and monitor project work. This role supports Information System-related business planning requirements, including budgeting, scheduling, and workload planning. The Project Manager will maintain project issues and report the progress of critical path items to Information System management and local steering teams. Additionally, they will report project status and accomplishments, relying on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet expectations of applicable client Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
- Follow PMO methodology and processes to lead and manage projects end-to-end.
- Create and manage project scope, resources, and budget.
- Manage multiple large-size projects simultaneously.
Specific Duties:
- Gather and evaluate information concerning user’s conceptual needs.
- Estimate and schedule project activities and associated costs.
- Coordinate and participate in analysis, design, and coding activities.
- Ensure system changes are fully tested and users are thoroughly trained and prepared.
- Meet associated guideline and procedure requirements.
- Coordinate implementation of system changes.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Infrastructure Project Management experience within Healthcare
- Expertise in Technical/Infrastructure within Healthcare (network/telecom/data storage)
- Experience with Meditech/Epic is helpful but not essential, with a greater focus on Infrastructure type projects
