Position Highlights
• Title: Validation Engineer
• Full Time Direct Hire
Job Requirements
• Collaborate with engineering, safety and compliance, and testing departments to develop and maintain an accurate DVP&R that mitigates risk and supports powertrain & vehicle program timelines across all truck divisions
• Assist program management with validation budget details including test equipment
• Assure that comprehensive test plans are developed and aligned with powertrain & vehicle programs
• Provide written and verbal updates to communicate status, changes, risks/gaps to vehicle program timelines and identify opportunities for improvement
• Up to 10% travel (domestic and international)
Skills/Experience
• BS Degree in Engineering required or related technical field preferred.
• Prior experience with risk mitigation methods such as DFMEA and DVP&R.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work with a team to achieve timely objectives.
• Willingness to grow personally and professionally, ready to learn and make use of new processes and techniques; be resourceful with problem solving approach.
• Willingness to be outgoing, and engaging, and demonstrated passion to deliver top-quality results
• Prior experience managing data using Excel or similar tools and software
