Description: Support the sales team and customers by providing technical problem-solving, design, and application of power systems, controls, parts, and products. Help expand our technical capabilities to service more customers. We seek a motivated and talented candidate with 5+ years of experience to grow with a great team and a very successful company.
Responsibilities:
- Design and troubleshoot power systems based on customer requirements.
- Design, program, and troubleshoot mobile and industrial control systems.
- Develop, prepare, and present technical quotes and designs.
- Analyze and make recommendations for work projects or contracts.
- Build, assemble, and wire prototype systems in the shop.
- Participate in joint sales calls with sales representatives.
- Oversee systems installations and other startup projects or assignments.
Qualifications:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree required.
- 5+ years of fluid/hydraulic power experience.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Machine controls coursework is a plus.
- Proficiency with common office and CAD software applications.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning abilities for both short and long-term projects/assignments.
- Ability to handle multiple projects using independent judgment.
- Capability to work independently and collaborate with a diverse group of people.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required.
