Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage functional safety activities for automotive systems and components.
- Develop and implement safety concepts and requirements in compliance with ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.
- Perform safety analysis, including FMEA, FTA, and HARA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety requirements are integrated into the design and development process.
- Conduct safety assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on functional safety practices and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in functional safety, particularly in the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of ISO 26262 and IEC 61508 standards.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Proven experience in safety analysis methods such as FMEA, FTA, and HARA.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Certification in functional safety (e.g., TÜV SÜD Functional Safety Engineer) is a plus.
