Aviation Project Manager

Description:
We are looking for an Aviation Project Manager who has a desire to apply their technical design and management experience, while actively engaging their entrepreneurial spirit. Directs and coordinates activities of design disciplines and construction teams on projects of varying sizes, with a focus on aircraft hangars.
Responsibilities include:
- Communicate and coordinate with the team all deliverables as well as scope, schedule, and budget.
- Direct coordination with clients and other external partners.
- May lead or assist in pursuit/proposal management and contract negotiations.
- Assist in the direction of project planning, budgeting, and establishing critical project objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, and/or construction management or equivalent years of relevant experience preferred.
- Minimum 7 years related experience, 10 years’ experience preferred, including resident engineering and/or field experience on airport facility projects.
- Minimum 5 or more years managing complex airport and airline projects, with a focus on aircraft hangars, MRO, FBO, GSE, and flight kitchen facilities.
- Project size may vary. Resident engineering and/or field experience on airport facility projects.
- Must have the ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contacts on project-related matters.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project finance skills.
- A solid understanding of FAA criteria is required.
- Professional Registration is preferred.
