Measurement and Equipment – Sets up and maintains benches, testers, and other equipment, with minimal supervision. Installs, upgrades, and configures moderately complex equipment and components. Performs moderately complex measurements and produces necessary documentation. Monitors equipment performance and analyzes failures or malfunctions. Troubleshoots and performs basic repair work, rework, removal, and modifications to equipment as necessary.
Testing - Sets up test devices using hand tools or automatic test methods to perform moderately complex tests of circuits, components, instruments and mechanical assemblies. Documents test results and maintains malfunction records. Executes test plans and provides some input on test cases and test procedures. Reproduces and debugs moderately complex issues.
Data and Information Analysis - Conducts analyses to identify, troubleshoot, and/or diagnose simple technical issues, escalating to leaders as needed. Gathers and integrates data and information from stakeholders to understand simple specifications and develop basic solutions.
Collaboration - Collaborates with individuals inside own team and with other teams to complete project work.
Physical Requirements
Transports between offices, buildings, and campuses up to ½ mile.
Frequently transports and installs equipment up to 45-50 lbs.
Performs required tasks at various heights (e.g., standing or sitting).
Monitors and utilizes computers and test equipment for more than 6 hours a day.
Education
· Preferred – Associates or Bachelor’s - Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or Mathematics
Years of Experience
· Minimum - 2+ years basic electrical/electronics engineering, electronics or RF testing, or related experience.
Preferred - 1+ years’ experience working in a large matrixed organization.
- 2+ years’ experience in Semiconductor or related industry.
- 2+ years’ experience with general computer skills and Microsoft applications.
