Responsibilities:
- Write core java code adhering to overall architecture and design of existing applications
- Work closely with Quality Assurance to resolve any issues reported by QA / Test Analysis
- Understand performance metric and factors affecting the performance and find ways to improve it
- Leverage automation for increased efficiency
- Track own progress to ensure timely delivery
- Bring in fresh ideas to make improvements
- Participate in code reviews for own as well as others’ code
- Work with other teams involved in project life-cycle
Requirements:
- Good years of experience in a Software Development
- Deep understanding of Core Java 1.7+ and Multithreading
- Proficient in Spring boot, Microservices
- Good hands-on experience in SQL queries.
- Experience with Java frameworks such as DropWizard, Spring and Hibernate
- Familiarity with web development frameworks (Angular or React)
- Familiarity with distributed storage systems like DB2, ORacle, Cassandra, MongoDB
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines especially using Git
- Working knowledge of Unix/Linux experience
- Exhibits skilled knowledge of database SQL. Performs elementary database modeling and intermediate database tuning.
- Trading industry experience will be a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably CS, CE or IT)
