Become an integral part of the dynamic team by leveraging your expertise in electrical panels, digital, and analog electronics, lasers, laser controls and drives, as well as PC-based controls and servos. You will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of electronic systems and their components. You may work on a variety of projects, from the initial concept to the final implementation of a new product or system.
Your Work Includes:
· Take charge of AC/DC electronic control designs, conducting component selection to complete full system designs for Laser processing and automated machinery.
· Directly engage in design verification and system-level integration of analog and digital electronic subsystems.
· Create schematic layouts and wiring diagrams of control hardware, panel layout, and subsystem wiring designs.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams of optical, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to collectively pioneer new products in a fast-paced environment.
· You'll showcase your skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capability to work independently.
· Demonstrate exceptional electrical aptitude and provides innovative approaches to problem solving.
· Provide alternate solutions for obsolete and diminishing materials.
· Evaluate new technology and opportunities for new business.
· Support root cause analysis, failure modes, effects analysis, and reliability analysis for product improvement.
Education and Experience:
· A Bachelor of Science degree in an electrical engineering discipline.
· Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience.
· Your expertise should encompass digital and analog electronics.
· PC-based controls systems, servos, and AC/DC circuit design.
· SolidWorks (Electrical) experience.
· Firm understanding of ANSI/NFPA electrical standards for industrial machinery.
Nice to Have:
· Lasers controls and safety circuits design.
