Job Scope:
As Human Resources Generalist in an airport lounge, you will make a hands-on contribution to the achievement of business goals for the site. You will oversee the full spectrum of Human Resources functions for Denver Airport Lounge and HK Operations as required. You will be in charge of carrying out various HR initiatives at single-site level, including but not limited to talent recruitment (selection, hiring, new hire setup in ADP, onboarding, etc.), weekly payroll monitoring and auditing for the site to get it ready for processing centrally. You will serve as a Benefits specialist for the site and will handle employee labor & relations issues prior to escalation to Country HR in Dallas, Texas. You will maintain close relationships with different departments to ensure all employee-related policies and procedures are being adhered to and together with line managers, apply and enforce applicable disciplinary actions. This entails ongoing review of policies and procedures and local practices and ensures compliance with local regulations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Recruiting, hiring (including reviewing and approving background checks, collecting, and maintaining documentation, I-9 compliance, and ensuring all new employees complete on-boarding and key training & policy acknowledgments).
- Generate official internal documents such as offer letters, promotion letters, salary change forms, and disciplinary forms.
- Creating onboarding plans for new hires and educating employees on HR policies, internal procedures, and regulations.
- In coordination with global IT, set up new hires with their work email, set up laptop, cell phone, etc.
- Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits, and attendance records.
- Handle all phases of benefit enrollment and administration and provide assistance to employees with benefit issues and questions.
- Maintaining all personnel records, status changes, payroll, and other reports/documentation.
- Maintain the recruiting tracker, and all reports as needed by Country and Global HR.
- Investigating and resolving employment relation concerns. Address employee grievances and escalate when necessary.
- Manage leave of absences for employees including Short-Term Disability (STD), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and Workers' Compensation, and oversee Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and other unpaid leaves.
- Review, guide, and administer employee disciplinary actions and involuntary termination procedures.
- Exit Interviews and unemployment claims.
- Monitor legal updates to stay abreast of compliance requirements; make recommendations for policy, procedure, and process modifications, implementing and communicating on approved changes.
- Promote employee relations, build, and nurture company culture in conjunction with local leadership. Support country and global HR team to implement global HR programs and initiatives.
- Participate in any ad hoc projects that the company assigns.
- Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and legal Responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area.
- 5+ years of experience working in Human Resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- PHR preferred.
- Management experience in designing and delivering cultural change programs / projects in a global context.
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Spanish and or Arabic would be preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, convincing and influential
- Strong people management skills, capable in handling diversity in a multicultural organization, with the ability to build multi-cultural & inclusive environments.
- Proficiency with IT tools and systems. Can troubleshoot at basic user level (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, VPN). Can set up new hires with their IT tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Local candidate. This position is not eligible for relocation.
- This position will be based out of DEN Airport.
- Ability to work in the US without visa sponsorship. We are not sponsoring a working visa for this role.
- Hands-on experience in Human Resources in the USA in the State of Texas
- Willing to undergo and successfully pass a pre-employment screening and background check.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
- Able to stand/sit for prolonged period of time.
