Pay Rate: $85K-$90K/annually depending on experience

Summary:
The Civil/Structural Designer III will play a crucial role in delivering precise and efficient 3D models, fabrication drawings, and bills of materials for various structural components. This includes skids, modular structures, pipe-racks, platforms, pipe supports, crossovers, and cable trays, all within the scope of gas processing and treatment projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop 3D models, fabrication drawings, and bills of materials for structural skids, modular structures, pipe-racks, platforms, pipe supports, crossovers, and cable tray supports, ensuring adherence to international codes (ASCE) and client-specific standards.
- Update and refine drawings based on client feedback and standard requirements.
- Guarantee all deliverables meet stringent safety, quality, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and clarify information pertinent to the drawings.
- Adhere to project schedules and budget constraints.
- Organize and maintain accurate records of drawings and related documentation as instructed by discipline managers or senior engineers.
- Coordinate efforts with designers from other engineering disciplines.
- Utilize computers and office equipment regularly, including tasks such as typing, printing, and managing communications.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or technical school training in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer-Aided Design Technology, or a related field.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in structural design, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Expertise in utilizing 3D CAD design tools, particularly when working with STAAD outputs, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Proven ability to effectively analyze problems, gather and interpret data, and draw sound conclusions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Proficiency in using email systems, Microsoft Outlook is preferred.
- Strong creative abilities in the design and development of mechanical, structural, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Solid organizational and planning skills.
- Experience within a relevant industry.
- Practical knowledge of gas processing and treatment.
- Familiarity with design and project management tools such as Navisworks and WRENCH.
