We are actively seeking dynamic Java Support Engineers to join their expanding team and contribute to their mission of driving excellence in digital operations.
Your Role
As a Java Support Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless operations and providing top-notch technical support. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Leadership:
- Spearhead the implementation of advanced practices with a focus on X12 EDI transactions, ensuring strict compliance with CAQH standards.
- Gain in-depth knowledge of operational processes, particularly in facilitating transactions between diverse entities.
Customer Interface Development:
- Design and develop intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance customer interactions with our client’s operations.
- Prioritize security and regulatory compliance in all interface designs.
- Consistently meet project timelines, ensuring timely delivery.
System Configuration:
- Configure backend systems, including databases, servers, and network setups, to support operational needs.
- Implement and maintain secure protocols for data processing.
Compliance & Security:
- Ensure all systems adhere to the latest regulatory standards for data privacy and security.
- Stay informed on industry changes and proactively adjust systems to maintain compliance.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Conduct rigorous testing of interfaces and configurations to guarantee reliability and performance.
- Address and resolve any issues identified during testing phases.
Documentation & Support:
- Develop comprehensive documentation for system configurations and customer interfaces.
- Provide ongoing training and support, ensuring smooth transitions and continued success post-implementation.
Effective Communication:
- Maintain clear and professional communication with customers, updating them on workflows and addressing any critical issues.
- Escalate production issues to the development manager or COO as necessary.
- Uphold high standards of customer satisfaction through prompt, courteous, and solution-focused interactions.
Production Management:
- Oversee daily production for assigned clients, ensuring no delays or disruptions in service.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Java programming required. There will be a coding assessment.
- Strong experience with Unix-like and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of relational databases and their management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong mathematical aptitude and organizational skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and effective time management
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 0-5 years of relevant experience in a similar role
